Our Approach to Occupational Health Services
Whether you are an employer or an employee our approach is simple – we provide every organisation or individual client with the best possible care. Every member of our staff is a qualified professional who’ll work with your organisation, or you as an individual to achieve the outcome you require, by reducing time lost out of work or through sickness absense, reducing lost income, promoting a happier workforce and increased productivity.
All our staff work with honesty, integrity and professionalism. We take the time and effort to ensure our users and clients are treated with the care and attention they deserve. Our specialists understand that every client is an individual, and will treat you as such.
We understand that individual circumstances can be both upsetting and stressful. That’s why we’ve created a relaxed and homely atmosphere with friendly, professional and trustworthy staff.
Our Clinical Approach
It’s important to us that we find and offer the best clinical and occupational management to suit both the employer, employee or the unemployed. Our extensive range of multidisciplinary assessments, training, advice and treatments means we can give you exactly the right type of care.
Our approach ensures we get to the root of any problem – because we assess the whole background and underlying issues and not necessarily just the painful area. In many cases, such as repetitive strain, pain in one part of the body is caused by a problem elsewhere. A classic example in Tennis Elbow, which is often caused by a problem in the back or neck. By finding the source of pain we can offer effective assessment and management that gets you or your employee back to health quicker. Our biomechanical approach has helped many patients finally cure and control long-term pain that has never been properly diagnosed.
We are able to refer our patients to specialists and surgeons, but our emphasis is on non-evasive techniques wherever possible. We believe that cure is better than repeated treatment, so we work with our patients to help them prevent problems coming back.
Back Pain Exercises and Online Resources
We offer ergonomic, whole body and back pain video home exercise programmes online, so you can make the most of our treatments. Our videos are designed to help you make the right movements to aid your recovery, because it’s not always easy to follow an exercise routine from a sheet of paper. Our online videos can be prescribed for use between appointments and beyond, helping you care for your body and freeing you from pain.
