Why do I need treatment?

Your feet are important and need to be checked regularly to keep them healthy. As we advance in years, this becomes especially necessary, because poor foot health is linked with poor mobility. Additionally, foot problems can alter the way we move and our posture, causing subsequent problems such as back pain.

The treatment process
On your first appointment, one of our expert practitioners will examine your feet and assess your treatment needs. If all you require is routine chiropody, we will trim and treat your nails, remove any hard skin, calluses or corns. Your practitioner will explain if you require any additional, non-routine treatments.

Biomechanical Assessment Centre
Often, unresolved back, neck, knee, shin, heel and foot pain are caused by faulty alignment in the bones and the muscles of feet. At our Biomechanical Assessment Centres, we can diagnose the cause of these problems by scientifically examining the mechanics of your feet. Misalignment can cause flat feet, over pronation, persistent ankle sprains, bunions, corns and calluses, which can then cause problems further up the leg.

Once we have diagnosed your problem, we can produce tailor-made orthotics (insoles) to help realign the foot and treat the issue.
