Our reflexology treatments are carried out by a fully qualified reflexologist, who can help to treat a range of conditions. Reflexology is an ancient therapy and can bring patients all kinds of health benefits.

What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology is known as a complimentary or alternative therapy and treatments involve massaging the hands and feet to reflect different areas. It is a non-invasive treatment that is said to work on the mind, body and spirit. The benefits are wide ranging and can include relief from:

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  • sinusitis
  • insomnia
  • migraines
  • sciatica
  • Pre-Menstrual Stress (PMS)
  • anxiety and depression
  • arthritis
  • M.E. and fibromyalgia
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • neck, shoulder and back pain
  • acute inflammation
  • hormone imbalances

It can also help to balance the body’s systems, cleanse away toxins in the body and boost circulation. Many patients also find that reflexology brings them renewed energy and a state of relaxation.

Who Can Benefit From Reflexology?

Almost everyone can benefit from reflexology and it can be used to treat a wide range of symptoms. However, it is not suitable for people with deep vain thrombosis (DVT), gangrene or internal bleeding. It is also not always recommended for people with conditions like broken bones, cancers, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes or epilepsy. People with a fever or infectious diseases may not be able to have treatment and pregnant women shouldn’t be treated in the first trimester. For a full list or to find out more, please contact us.
